Said it in the other topic but the choreography for Bouncin especially is crazy good, looking forward to this

 

Surprised at the lack of reactions! She did it again. Feels more uptempo and on the experimental and electronic side than Songs For You. I continue to be blown away by her ability to reinvent herself. Early favorites are SHY GUY (seriously deserved to be longer), Undo (Back To My Heart), Let Me Down Slowly, and Small Reminders. The title track is wild, she went into some out there territory on that one.

ppl are saying this is her best record and i'm excited to check it out

 

Six tracks in and I'm really vibin'; feels like a slightly more classic R&B sound

 

Synthwave jam "The Chase" I wasn't expecting, but I dig

 

"Bouncin', Pt 2" is fireeeeeeeeee

 

First half is def stronger than the 2nd half, but overall a really good album

 

Honestly, I'm already thinking this might be. So far, my holy trio was Black Water - Songs For You - Nightride, and I can see this one disrupt it.

Really great moments on this, a little long but barely wears out it welcome. Extremely varied and strong

I just discovered this album a couple of weeks ago after seeing her name on the Bonnaroo lineup. HOT DAMN this album is fantastic! Definitely would've been high up on my 2021 AOTY list.
