me too, he's talked about screenwriting in every interview i've read from the last few years. he still hasn't said anything about it, but i assume it's probably named the same thing as the album. he talked about short stories too, i'd love to read those! I guess there won't be new Cursive any time soon!! :-------)
enjoying this so far, No Secret sounds like a distant cousin to Happy Hollow, but less bombastic and more strings.
To be fair like five of those tracks are short interlude/reprisal type stuff, it's more like 10 "actual" songs
It flows p well imo, though yeah the spider songs are probably my favorite example of such a thing. It IS supposed to be a movie soundtrack so it makes sense. Lmk what you think upon revisiting
