Adam's voice definitely isn't good in a traditional sense but the expression in his voice fit Tigers Jaw so well.
I agree with that wholeheartedly. Esp in Charmer where it gave off this jaded sorrowless vibe that fit well with his apathetic lyrics
adam's voice is terrible traditionally speaking, but yeah, it fit the band so well and created this sense of melancholy. on another note, i want to hear danielson live
Adam's voice is also great for singing along to in the shower because it's so not-good, I can replicate it. I wish he never left the band.
I'm going to echo what others have said about his voice, works great for Tigers Jaw but I mean, is that actually how he sings or is that the delivery he chooses? I don't know if that question is going to make sense to anyone but myself lol
I would also like to throw my love for Ben/Brianna over Adam out there. The No Mask half of this track is one of my favorite things they've ever done.
Honestly, I'd rather we just had all three back singing in the band, but last time I saw them live Ben did a fantastic job on lead vocals, and having Brianna singing leads on Never Saw It Coming was astoundingly good.
More songs like Hum or basically everything on the acoustic live album where both Ben and Brianna share the vocals would be 10/10.
I'm sure what they do will be great but I wouldn't mind a slight return to the driving sound on the second record
They're done recording. Adam definitely had vocals that fit pretty perfectly with the music he made. Not to mention he really played to his strengths with it about Two Worlds onwards. But yeah, Ben and Brianna also play to their strengths well so I'm not really worried as much as just curious.
His voice is noticeably terrible in this. I think it's his delivery-- it's gotten more nasally since he started Wicca Phase imo
