If it’s not a single off an album does that mean a new album announcement is actually not imminent? If so I need to temper my excitement quickly.
Yo how nice is it to hear this band produced well again and have a bit more life? This feels so much more energetic.
I’ve wanted them to branch out a bit and who knows if they will on the album but I’ve realized I don’t really care anymore, they have their sound and they do it so fucking well. The bass tone is so good.
This is pretty good, but yeah we're just going to get Spin pt 2 Hopeless signing is so weird too But if this isn't on the album that's a bummer! I wanted to preorder today
My only complaint is that I wish Brianna’s harmonies were a bit more prominent but I love this. I’ve listened 10 times in a row haha
It's funny because I saw them play this 3 times in the Fall and I felt like I already knew the whole song on my first listen by how catchy the chorus is lol
Still produced by Yip, but this sounds more like how he produced The Menzingers than how he produced SPIN. I dig it. Definitely feels more energetic. It also has the song credits listing the whole band and Yip, that's probably why the bass, drums, and lead guitar sound more vibrant than they did on SPIN.
Yeah Teddy and this guy are actually members now. So at least it wasn't just Ben and Brianna doing all of the recording this time
The band have finished recording their sixth full-length album, returning to work with longtime producer and friend Will Yip. Teddy Roberts and Colin Gorman have joined veteran members Ben Walsh and Brianna Collins to craft this new batch of Tigers Jaw songs after years of tightening their playing together on the road. While the emotionally charged “Warn Me” isn’t featured on their forthcoming release, it offers a preview of their new and expanded sonic approach.
Love this, want the album as soon as possible. Not a band I expected to sign to Hopeless but that's great for them.
Good song! I love how prominent Brianna’s keys are. The drumming is also really good. I hope the album sounds exactly like this (in terms of production) tbh
I love Yip's production on some things tbf, such as Peripheral Vision, Jar and ATP. This is a big step up production wise.
