Maybe it’s because that was my 4 years of college and going to shows with my friends, but 2009-2013 pop-punk/post-hardcore/emo was a really special time.
That podcast brought back so many memories. West End, Now Thats Class, basement and house shows. TF, B&C, TJ, Daylight, TWY, Transit, MO, IIOI, Pianos, LD, TA, all of the post hardcore/screamo revival on Topshelf, pop punk on No Sleep and RFC - truly the best. Very lucky and humble to have been a part of it.
So Ben said they’ve been sitting on the record now since August of 2019. I wonder if they’ve been doing any extensive writing throughout the pandemic. Great interview!
Yeah I'm also out on listening to any more singles until the record drops. This is currently my most anticipated album and I don't want to overdo these songs before the whole thing comes out.
Not as in to this one as the first 2 singles, but good. As everyone else said, pretty standard for them.
