This is fantastic. I’m glad I didn’t burn myself out on any of the singles. I listened to Cat’s Craddle a ton when it first got released but still love it. I need this headline tour in my life.
Man this is so good. Love love love it. also my Blue Rose Magic t-shirt came today, still waiting for the vinyl though
Whoa what the heck, title track is literally perfect? What a way to start. EDIT: Cat's Cradle through Body Language went in one ear and out the other as being pretty good, but Commit and Never Wanted To are really great.
First listen through this was solid, although I didn't really dig the first track as much. The singles, however, really pop hearing them in context.
It's a good album, but not a lot stands out. Most of the songs have the same vibe/tempo. Cat's Cradle is still the highlight for me.
The opener is going to be a blast when crowd participation comes back in. Love Commit + Cant Wait Forever
This album is freaking great, need to spin it a bunch more to see how it lands for me in their discography, but I love it so far.
Really like this album a lot. Body Language is my favorite after a few spins. Definitely excited to see these new songs live whenever that will be. They still remain one of those weird bands to me, in that I don't really like the vocals (Ben or Brianna) as I think they're generally pretty weak and monotone, but at the same time I love them in the context of the music. I find myself humming along to pretty much every song as the melodies are great and fun, but at the same time in the back of my head, I'm like these aren't great singers... I don't know, probably just me. The songs work and I consider them a band I really enjoy, but I like and dislike the vocals at the same time.
I want more out of “Can’t Wait Forever” and “Body Language,” but pretty near perfect album for me. “Anniversary” has really grown on me as a closer too.
Finished my first listen, and it was real good. Definitely treads the same ground as Spin, but sounds so much better IMO. Heaven Apart, and Anniversary are a great way to end it. Drums sound so full.
Like this a lot more than Spin on the first few spins (all pun intended). Commit is definitely a highlight
