this really is pretty wide ranging. she does so many different sounds so well. love how dreamy "Imaginary Friends" is. "Ms Behave" is so fun too.

Enjoying this being such a confidently tight and minimal album. Every song gets in and gets out, concise AF, and it's very much not trying to impress. All of these things I can appreciate when there’s so much TikTok bullshit being released rn that just gives me a headache.

 

Also justice for Shower Song, that shit is fun(ky) in context

 

I just find the lack of progression/evolution in the songs a little tiresome, every song just feels like a song from whack world on loop for 2 or 3 times before the next song.

 

I recommend paying attention to the lyrics which always make me appreciate her work so much more. The songs themselves aren’t super dynamic / unpredictable but each hit a sweet spot in their own infectious ways. I can tell I’ll be listening to this a lot.

Glad there are some fans in here now. It’s a great album that I genuinely believed would get more love here. Especially considering so many rappers make TikTok jingles, how others strive to appear untouchable through their lyrics. Whereas this album by comparison is a breath of fresh air. Really down to earth, not seeking idolization or asserting her extravagance, if that makes sense. Honestly just makes me feel like Tierra could be a buddy of mine.
