It was on Victory. I don't believe they are. I know Geoff still has some financial troubles, but that's because of the Martin Shkrelli situation.
Just been watching some videos of recent shows. Seems like Tim left the tour at the start of April. Anyone know who the fill in bassist is?
Full Collapse isn't their best album but man those songs get my hype anyway. I'm gonna post the setlist from my stop of the tour later if anyone cares. The setlist had me revisit full collapse a bit as well as jet black new year
Actually the NC date had an identical set to ours Thursday Setlist at The Fillmore, Charlotte Jealous of the dates ahead of mine that got both sparks AND no answers
Tomorrow I see Thursday for the first time. Stoked about their encore song choices. Hope we get No Answers.
Looks like they're adding more tour dates, with mewithoutyou and Big Jesus. I'll be at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster on June 28th. Also playing in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, CT, and some dates in Canada too.
need to see whether these dates are it so far, wouldn't be surprised but i haven't seen anything official yet
Bummer that mwY tour isnt coming near me. Saw them both play together with Minus The Bear about 10 years ago & it was incredible
definitely the two best/most accessible ones. foxes could be up there too but i don't like that one as much as those two.
I've never really gotten into mewithoutYou either but when I was in high school, I used to go to the local record store and buy random albums. One day, my friend and I were in the shop and some random dude showed me the (A-->B) Life record and was like 'you have to buy this.' I knew nothing about mewithoutYou at the time but I wasn't afraid to buy random albums, so I purchased it. The guy who recommended it to me, went one step further and goes 'You have to listen to this album right now' and followed my friend and i into my car and made us listen to the album while he was in the backseat. This literally happened 15 years ago and it's one of those stories that we'll never forget.
