Also possible that he just wasn't able to do the rehearsal I guess. Or maybe he can only do part of the tour? Who knows, we'll find out
Someone should ask Geoff on twitter, he seems pretty open about most things. I would but I've been off social media for a few yrs
I wonder if Tim can only do parts of the tour, or maybe there's a future tour this year that he knows he can't make? Who knows, maybe they'll just play with two bassists live and really shake up the scene lol
Jw is there a band out there that plays with two bassists and uses that to its full potential?? Cause that could either be sweet or messy
Anyone from Boston in here go to the show? Looks like this was the setlist: For the Workforce, Drowning The Other Side of the Crash/Over and Out (Of Control) Cross Out the Eyes Beyond the Visible Spectrum Autobiography of a Nation Counting 5-4-3-2-1 A Hole in the World Signals Over the Air Jet Black New Year This Song Brought to You by a Falling Bomb Division St. Circuits of Fever Understanding in a Car Crash ----- War All the Time Turnpike Divides
Wish I could've made it out to those. I get doing a shorter set for the longer tour, but I still wish it was longer haha I'm just glad that they're back and touring.
As someone who has seen Thursday a few times, but never seen them headline, seeing the set at only 15 songs is a huge bummer. I mean, they played 11 songs the last time I saw them as an opener.
I am pleased with that setlist. Very excited to see Autobiography, Hole, Circuits, WATT (again), and Turnpike. That encore will kill me. Also, 15 songs is fine by me. The first time I ever saw Thursday was last December and they played 18, which isn't much more in comparison. Just be lucky and grateful that they're even doing a tour at all. I'm sure they're keeping it to 15 so they don't burn themselves out on the first tour they've done since 2011.
