Really happy they're actually playing at least one show and really hopeful they (and Piebald and Hey Mercedes) also do Riot Fest.

 

I wonder if this may lead to them playing any more shows seldom or doing short tours like what Saosin is doing now.

Idk, but I'm really happy to see that they're doing something again.

Quicksand, Thursday, American Football, The Promise Ring... Those bands alone would get me to Atlanta, let alone a handful of others.

 

so liiiike what do we think the chances are of Thursday playing Riot Fest in Denver too?

 

Last year most of these bands toured around the fest which took the shine off of how fun it was, oh well

 

What brings you here to Philly at that time?

 

I swear, if the year I decide I can't afford Riot Fest is the year Thursday plays...

 

I'm moving there after I graduate!

 

I go to school here in Philly! We can go to shows and do stuff together!

I wonder if this is one and done or a proper reunion. I had no plans and therefore no money saved to go to Georgia but if this is it, I will figure something out to see my favorite band again.

I would much rather spend the money on VIP tickets or seeing them in Philly and Starland. I will wait and see how this all works out.

 

For what it's worth, Wrecking Ball was a really fun time last year and I'd totally recommend it

 

It was definitely fun, but most of these bands weren't one off and sorta killed that buzz for me, since most of the bands I saw I saw back at home too

 

But I'm not made of money tho

I don't really live near any big festivals so I hope they announce more in the future so I could see them! If not, I'm gonna just wipe my memory and pretend like they never reunited lol

 

Pretty much the same with me lol... if they do a proper tour I'll obviously see them but I can't drop everything and go to Atlanta unfortunately...

 

Ugh. Just playing a festival is a buzzkill.
