Thursday will play two very different sets at the Starland Thursday and Friday. “The cool thing is that few songs will be repeated,” Rickly said. “The first night will be the nihilistic evening. It’ll be filled with dark songs. And then the next night will feature more hopeful songs.”

Rickly would like to take a break from his current band, United Nations, and give Thursday a chance. “I feel with what’s happening in the world, that there is a need for what Thursday can do.” Rickly said. “I think there is a need for a band with compassion, sincerity and creativity. My heart is with Thursday.”
