I love Fast To The End but its one of my least favorites on ND.

I've been listening to CE a lot the past couple days and I'm almost confident in saying its my favorite. I just love what they do on that album. Resuscitation is probably my favorite opener.

 

The Other Side Of The Crash has my vote for their best opener.

My fav part of the song I think is

these are basically my top three for their openers, which one I put at number one depends on the day. The Other Side is INSANE, Resuscitation is similarly insane, Workforce just gets that excitement going from the get go.

I'm listening to their b sides for the first time, and wowowow. The ACBTL demos, The Worst Vow, and even the daytrotter ND sessions are all so good. Didn't know that Last Call was originally planned for City, but it makes sense cuz I think I remeber someone saying that.

 

I really want to know what the proposed double LP version of City would've been like

 

Thursday have amazing b-sides my favorite Thursday song (Ladies and Gentlemen My Brother The Failure) is a b-side

 

Yeah I love Kill the House Lights. First time listening to their unofficially released ones. Though I'm sure the CE ones were available on iTunes.

 

I guess I'll go look for the b sides now

 

theyre great. some of their best, top tier tracks are tucked in the b-sides. If we count Jet Black New Year as a b-side its among the best

 

The Autumn Leaves revisited demo in particular is great. Even the Sand is Made of Seashells is next, and I'm super stoked cuz everyone always talks about it.

 

@stillbrazy and I both at one point thought that Even The Sand Is Made Of Seashells was the closer to ACBTLD and I wouldve been ok with it. But yeah as far as a song goes its fucking phenomenal

yeah Jet Black is fucking WILD live and is just a great song in general. that fucking countdown is so great.

 

Id love a new No Devotion record. That has some of my favorite Geoff material/lyrics. Also wouldnt mind a new United Nations record.
