I think this bands b-side collection is legendary, much like The Smiths or Jimmy Eat Worlds. Can't believe the amount of quality songs that never made it on an album

 

I absolutely love A Darker Forest and I'm pumped to see it added to a few lists in here. I don't see it get talked about a lot when it comes to that album, but that one is a top 5 song on No Dev for me, if not top 3.

Magnets Caught in a Metal Heart was the first Thursday song I heard and it was an accident and Full Collapse confused me for a bit in the aftermath of that but like in a good way.
I was gonna make a top ten list but idk. i've never ranked a bands top ten songs before as far as i can remember.

 

We've discussed this before and that's one of my "least" favorites on the album please don't hurt me

No Answers never clicked with me. It's weird, because I know it's a favorite around here and I want to love it, but I'd put it near the bottom of my No Dev rankings.

 

I like the song a lot for sure but yeah nowhere close to the best on nd imo

 

No Answers feels like THE Thursday song, ya know? Like, I feel like it shows off everything the band does so well. Its by no means by favorite Thursday song, but I get why its so well beloved. Hell even Geoff loves it and said its probably the best song they ever wrote,

 

Idk I don't rly get that feeling. It doesn't sound like much of their other stuff I don't think. If I had to choose a definitive Thursday song...oof...maybe turnpike divides honestly or you were the cancer

Kashers part, albeit small, is really great. Plus its just an interesting song lyrically and structurally. That guitar riff is wild.

I always wanted Cursive and Thursday to tour together that wouldve been a good fit I think.
