really curious what sort of accounting/business fuck up caused Geoff, and only Geoff, to not get paid last quarter. How awful.

 

Same here. I assume he would have elaborated if he wanted to, but this was the big question I left the article with. Otherwise a great read and insight into Geoff's interests outside the band. Also, a next book is exciting!

 

Just watched the new cover video and they did really well in such a high pressure situation.

Followed that up by listening to the new EP and it’s so so so good.

Would love a new Thursday album right about now.

 

Not sure if it was mentioned here already but they did shuffle the tour sets around so Conley is opening now instead of being in between the two Thursday sets.

 

yeah not that their money is any of our business and we'll probably never find out, but what the hell does this even mean? where did his money go if everyone else got paid? That seems like something to raise hell about in most circumstances (and maybe he did, but still somehow lost?)

 

Also just went to buy tix, had no idea they were charging $50 now for a small crappy venue. Hate this timeline

 

"Chris from Saves the Day will now open the show at approx. 7.30pm each night (doors are 630pm for the most part) and then we will do the City vs No Dev set around 8.20pm / take a little 15 minute intermission to catch our breath before coming back out to rock the best of Full Collapse! These are going to be incredible nights and we cannot wait! We will also post the set times on stories the day of each show."

This has to be in response to people using their voice about Chris right? Not just announcing the doors, opening time for the entire tour ahead of time but also saying that you will be posting the set times every single night ahead of the tour. What a way to not talk about the issue.

No Autumn Leaves or Stay True is a pretty big bummer. Hopefully they mix it up every night

 

That is almost a very rad setlist, but no Autumn Leaves Revisited is super disappointing.

 

If those are the City and No Dev songs they’re gonna play every night I honestly may sell my ticket lol. We see

 

I can't imagine playing Counting and not Autumn Leaves lol

 

A Gun in the First Act rules though, can’t believe they never played it before

 

I know combined there's more of them, but both No Dev and City having less songs played from them than Full Collapse, like I get it but lol

 

I’m generally pretty defensive of this band but marketing a tour as No Dev/ACBTLD centric and only playing 11 songs total from both and STILL playing like 90% of FC in addition to the Conley shit is kind of fucking annoying.

 

AND not even playing the best song from City!

 

Play some Common Existence cowards

 

Yeah I’m hoping they switch it up, that setlist doesn’t move the needle for me

 

This feels ridiculous to say but about 90% of my excitement for this tour hinged on one or both of these songs getting played.
