Day two had dying in NB on the set but they didn’t play it. day three they sharpies through 2 songs on the set list in solid so I couldn’t tell what they were supposed to be from where I was. But yes. Did get this side of brightness and love song writer. not loving their sets but they did throw in a few at least. And at least they played all 3 new songs so I got to hear all of those live.
That version has been vinyl only since the 7" came out. Very stoked it's finally available digitally.
They are playing with Silverstein in a couple weeks and I’m debating if I want to go see them do an opening slot
It's like a 9 song set, I had a good time seeing them on the first leg of the tour, fun to see them with Wade as a bonus.
I mean, do master it correctly for vinyl (doesn't the first press sound pretty awful?), but change nothing about the mix.
Yeah, but far more demand for that album. Also had way more success. I mean, Thursday still plays WATT album shows quite often and/or 50%+ of the set is from that album. this is all coming from someone who thinks ACBTLD is by far their best, but most people outside of this site couldn’t care less about it.
i like city more than most, i love every album of theirs, but its mix is really really bad in general lol super not a fan of how it sounds and can imagine it particularly wouldnt translate on vinyl. a remix would go hard
would have been wild, i remember hearing him interviewed where he talked about that but said the band ultimately didnt want to go as intense as geoff did
“Rampart” is a word if I’m not mistaken that was invented to make emo bands sound smarter. I have no heard that word outside of the context of early 2000’s emo bands
