I'll tell ya what, this one song had me realizing what a hole there's been in this genre of music for the past 13 years.

No one does it quite like Thursday. It just feels like art.

Thursday on the front page of Pitchfork, what a world

Well, WERE on the front page. Looks like more new stories popped up and pushed them off it but they were there for a bit!

 

Now I gotta track down one of the 7" of it

 

I think what's missing in modern post-hardcore is hooks. Thursday wrote some heavy songs but always had some memorable hooks.

The whole thing of working on "songs" instead of an album is very much where Alexisonfire started things up again.
