Immediately preordered. Geoff is a phenomenal lyricist and was one of my first inspirations to write poetry when I was a kid. I can’t wait to see his work in book-form.

Tempted, I went to 2 of the Every Time I Die boat shows and they're probably my favorite concerts I've ever been to.

Someone Who Isn’t Me is devastating and beautiful, reminds me a bit of Ocean Vuong’s masterpiece On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous. I’m about halfway through and consistently getting blown away.

Nah, just buy it. It deserves to be read. It’s a poetic trippy memoir about Geoff’s heroin addiction and his recovery, and includes a ton of anecdotes about the band’s history, their time on tour, their friendships. Highly recommended.

I’m just never good about reading through the books I buy BUT you’re right I should support Geoff.

one of my most anticipated books.

i will say it's a bummer the publisher isn't working with the distributor Ingram. for the sake of having the book accessible to more bookstores, Ingram is helpful for that. i want my local bookshop to carry the book but it might take some convincing. anyway, i do respect the ultra independent route Rose Books is taking. will keep following them for upcoming titles.

 

I have the book pre-ordered even tho i have too many physical books already but it wasnt available from my library so oh well. Idek I feel like I'm studying to become an Emo/pop punk/scene historian at this point lmao. Not sure what I plan to do with all this info but I'll be prepared!

Also sometimes feel like I keep Thursday single-handedly in business with all of their stuff I buy oop

Ugh need those shorts and I still haven’t ordered Geoff’s book so I’ll prob get that too. Love that some of the proceeds go towards their unemployment stuff.

 

Already got the book but my shirt size has doubled in the last year and none of my old merch fits me so I’ve been going crazy buying new stuff lately so this is perfect
