FC is definitely one of the worst though, haha. my easy three favs are the two mentioned above, then a tier to WATT, then a tier to common existence and FC

 

Full Collapse is my favorite and the only album of theirs I ever go back and listen to.

 

full collapse is just so uninteresting compared to ACBTLD and No Devo

 

I enjoyed War and City but couldn't get into CE or No Devo.

 

FC is toward the bottom of my list but I still think it is incredible

I tried listening to FC many times. Can't get through it.

 

FC is a scene classic and it's like the 5th best Thursday record

 

I'd put FC ahead of WATT and Waiting. Maybe above ACBTLD and CE too.

 

War all the time means so much to me, was my first Thursday record and I had it in my car for 2 months straight in high school so i couldn't imagine anything beating it

 

I absolutely love Common Existence. You Were The Cancer is an incredible closer, Beyond the Visible Spectrum is one of their best songs along with As He Climbed the Dark Mountain, and it's peppered with amazing moments like the bridge of Subway Funeral. It's also very experimental, given how raw and heavy it is.

 

Speaking of As He Climbed the Dark Mountain, one of the many things Thursday has done for me is introduce me to Envy with the split back in 08. I'm sure I wasn't alone. Maybe the best split ever from this scene--every song from both bands is excellent

I love An Absurd and Unrealistic Dream of Peace. Awesome, awesome song.

 

In Silence is also amazing. I don't even care that it's lacking vocals; it's so crushing and emotional.

 

CE has the best b-sides

Yeah we're confirmed getting a Brand New album this year I doubt we'll get a new Thursday album. If so, next year at the earliest

 

I feel the exact same way.

 

I would love to see a solo Geoff Rickly show.
