Them saying humble addition makes me feel like it's not gonna be a full album or anything as substantial as we would all want, but I would love to be wrong!
Yeah I think it's the Signals trilogy. I've said it before but the fact they can't get more than 3/6 permanent members to tour, I don't see how they've been writing and recording together. Thursday love overhyping announcements so an addition to the discography = live albums seems about right. I guess they could write and record remotely but they've always needed that chemistry as a band, I don't see that working for them.
I had a ticket for their show in Reading, PA that was scheduled for last December before it got cancelled. Supposedly, everyone that ordered a ticket on that short run of shows they were doing received an email that had downloadable music and pics that hinted at something to come. It wasn’t anything too fancy. I got a couple songs from the Signals sets they did and other live versions of stuff so I wouldn’t be surprised if whatever is being hinted at is some sort of live album or something.
Announcement coming tomorrow. Also I've been listening to No Answers all morning trying to figure out the opening drum pattern.
Lol they've been doing this for 4 years. I think it will either be Signals box set or the reimagined version of Full Collapse that they teased.
Yeah the last thing I want is another full collapse set when they mostly play from that album and WATT anyways.
fingers crossed for the re-imagined album. it'll be like old Thursday mixed with a whole new Thursday album, which is kinda cool!
Yeah I mean more than one show. I've seen them twice post reunion and have gotten a grand total of two songs from that record
