I started tearing up for autumn leaves I literally want every band to play Warren so I can drive less lmao
Ughhh I was supposed to go to the Warren show but my SIL went into labor so I had to babysit my nephews. Literally every time I’ve had tickets to see Thursday something has happened and I missed the show. Thought for sure this would be when I could finally see them since I live like 20 mins away but nope the curse continues lol I got a new nephew this time at least lol
It was so good. I've been seeing Thursday live for 20 years now and they still amaze me at every show.
Thursday’s Philly set was recorded, as well as Cursive’s and Nate Bergman’s so keep an eye out for them
Not a huge fan of this genre. Geoff's part is really the only part that interests me. Everything else just comes across as noise.
I thought this was much better. I can actually make out what the band is doing which makes all the difference
How you listened to this song and that album and came to two wildly different conclusions about what this band sounds like is beyond me lol
Not to make this a “real emo” discussion but it’s funny Thursday would play this festival…considering they were a part of the actual emo scene in the 90s-2000s and the whole aesthetic of this plays on the hot topic type emo
Genre nitpicking is dumb but since you mentioned it lol none of those bands are emo, I’m seeing a lot of post-hardcore and pop-rock
They’ve toured with Underoath in the past and probably know the other bands. Not a bad gig getting paid to go on a cruise and hangout with your friends!
For whatever reason I feel okay trying to get crowded festival tickets during a pandemic but a cruise makes me go nope nope nope. Not sure if that's fair or not lol
That’s so funny I actually put it on last night for probably the first time since ‘13. Yeah really the only song I’m not crazy about is Subway Funeral but the rest are essential Thursday. Last Call still might be one of their heaviest songs.
I am eternally grateful to have gotten the opportunity to see them play You Were the Cancer back in 2016
