Interesting idea to reveal the setlist. I was gonna buy a ticket no matter what, and had hoped for newer stuff, but playing Steps and Asleep means I would’ve given em a blank check for it.
This is what I thought too but it's not the set list. It's a set list from March 2019. It's just an example. If they actually ignore Common Existence and No Devolucion I'll be disappointed. Unless they play a brand new track
“Live set unlike any they’ve done before”..did they ever do an ACBTLD set during those full album shows or was it just FC and WATT? There’s a handful of songs from it they’ve never done live aren’t there?
Thursday love an incredibly bold promise which isn't *quite* delivered haha. Imagine it will be a greatest hit sets and it's "unlike any they've done before" because it's live streamed. I don't think there are any songs from ACBTLD they've never done live (the only one I'm questioning is We Will Overcome?). I'm pretty sure they played Autumn Leaves a handful of times on the original tour but it's certainly not had it's fair due...I'd kill to see that live. Everything else has been played a reasonable amount albeit not so much since their reunion. God I'd love a new song so much. Imagine how amazing that would be.
Thinking back to that first set back at the wrecking ball preshow thing, you’re right haha. It was great but I was expecting something crazy based on Geoff’s intro. Autumn Leaves is what I was really thinking about with that comment. Would kill for that and the lesser played WATT songs. A new song would also be preferable ha
Definitely getting the stream and might have to get the t-shirt too. I wish that metal logo from the trucker hat was on a shirt though.
"we are more in love in music than we have ever been and Tucker Rule is gonna ‘bring it’ like never before at Signals V1." https://www.facebook.com/thursday/posts/10158698556544432:0 Sounds like a band that is inspired to write and release new content to me Geoff also mentioned a few months ago that they wanted to send new song ideas to each other during quarantine but stuff got so crazy in NJ that they had to focus on life stuff (understandable). I'm probably reading into this all too much but maybe NOT
Looks like Tom and Andrew won’t be on the show stream due to covid travel restrictions and Frank Iero is filling in for Tom.
That's great they found such a cool replacement for guitar but sad to hear Andrew won't be there...lots of of their songs really need his keys. Maybe a backing track...
Set list teaser they posted looks a little on the short side but hopefully it’s full of songs we rarely get.
I'll be disappointed if it's heavy on the early albums/singles but since this is v.1 I assume there will be more so maybe a future set will be deep cuts?
from what I can tell: Otherside of the crash Workforce Cross out the eyes Signals over the air Steps ascend Falling bomb ????? Times arrow Jet black new year WATT??? Understanding??? Turnpike
Rewatching Kill the Houselights doc for the first time since it came out. I love some of these little bits of info, like how Steve wrote 3.14 of Understanding. What a moment.
Just got out the sound bar we’ve had for like 3 years but never could get to work for this. Did some minimal research and found out I’ve been reading the fucking input diagram upside down the entire time. Volume was all the way up when it finally kicked in. None of the cats will come in the living room now lol.
I believe so. I think Cursive originally recorded theirs for something else? I might be making that up but I feel like I read that at some point.
