have i ever told the story about how i bought actbld on itunes and they didnt denote that even the sand is made of seashells was a bonus track and for at least 3 years i thought it was the closer
I prefer Workforce. They have some incredible openers don't get me wrong, but the "9 TO 5" moment is one of my favorites in their discog
Yes same thing happened to me. Remember in The Hotelier thread I asked you which Thursday record to start with and you said FC onward so I bought them all and I too thought sand was the closer.
my favorite thursday song of all time is "no answers." hands down. i can count on one hand the amount of songs that hit me like that.
My favorite opener is The Other Side Of The Crash and my favorite closer would have to be Autumn Leaves Revisited, but this band has penned some truly great openers and closers.
I think that album was the last one on Victory. Didn't think they'd want to work with them more than necessary haha.
Would the jump back to Victory for Kill The House Lights have anything to do with the DVD and/or any of the demos they did?
Oh my, looking at the Thursday Wikipedia page feels so good. "Thursday is an American post-hardcore band, formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1997." instead of was. "Years active 1997–2011, 2016–present" "No Devolución is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Thursday. The record was released throughEpitaph Records on April 12, 2011,[2] and it was Thursday's final album before their five year breakup from 2011 to 2016." instead of saying final.
I should watch that documentary again sometime soon. It's been a little over a year now. Really glad I bought it when I did.
That's awesome. I'd love a Thursday/Every Time I Die tour. Just got done listening to Full Collapse and Hot Damn! and those are two of the best albums, musically and lyrically, to come from our scene ever
Dead Songs is underrated. Sugar in the Sacrament or Division St. is probably my fav songs they've written overall.
Division St was my first Thursday song. I loved how dark and aggressive and melodic it was. Btw is that a bass at the beginning of Division St? Or is that a guitar being played on the E string really quickly?
