I ended up recording No Answers because of how excited I was for it, not the greatest quality but more than worth it for that end, that was probably my favorite segment of the show
Just saw a rough sketch of what they played last night, they pulled out You Were The Cancer the night after I'm there I wanna shoot myself in the face. On the plus side other than that I'd say it was probably the weakest night of the 3 setlist wise, at least for someone like me that likes seeing more stuff outside of Full Collapse/War All the Time. Night 1 was definitely the strongest but I'm still very happy with having gotten No Answers, Fast to the End, Cicuits of Fever and Counting 5-4-3-2-1
Yea the past 3 nights in Brooklyn have been celebration shows basically, and last night was the final show they have scheduled
Gotcha, I actually would have been way more inclined to go the shows earlier this month if they WEREN'T full album shows. I'd rather get material from their last three albums at this point than FC or WATT.
Anyone know what happened to No Devotion on streaming? Just went to listen from my library and it’s all grayed out
Damn, I listened to these guys today for the first time years and it made me miss them so much. I listened to Kill The House Lights, War All The Time, No Devolucion and A City By The Light Divided. After today I think A City By The Light Divided is my number one. It used to be War All The Time for years. No Devolucion still holds tight in my 3 spot. Great album to end on. They killed those songs live. I would love to see that again. Also, No Devolucion is on Apple Music.
Geoff is currently supporting Taking Back Sunday in the UK. I'm seeing him on Tuesday, can't wait. If anyone's been, interested to hear what kind of set he's playing? Hoping for a fair few Thursday favourites. I wonder if he has new material at all?
Always wonderful to see Geoff. He gave me a hug when I told him about all my overseas Thursday trips ❤️ When u meet ur hero always wear polyester running gear
Two dates in London in December full band. Playing at Camden electric ballroom (my favourite venue). They're playing FC one night then WATT the next night. Tickets on sale Wednesday. So frigging excited!!!!!!
I remember seeing them at the electric ballroom before - I think it was the ACBTLD tour. The venue is perfect for them and their performance was unreal.
I was there too. It was my first ever gig. My cousin had to take me because I was only 14 and I was worried I wouldn't get in. I remember getting swept into the mosh pit and having no idea what was going on but had an amazing time. I also remember the support band dancing naked behind Thursday at one point, fun times. Short but sweet. From the Thursday repertoire he played Times Arrow, This Song Was Brought..., This Side of Brightness and Cross Out the Eyes, plus a little bit of solo stuff which he released a few years ago.
Ha! I'd completely blanked out naked support dancing. I took my brother in law (it was his first gig too)
