I'm so unbelievably happy that they're doing more shows.

 

I was happy I got to see them once. That was with Colour Revolt and Taking Back Sunday. Great show.

Touché, Pianos, La Dispute, or The Hotelier would all be good fits especially since Geoff has had tons of praise for all those bands. He's often said he felt like he "passed the torch" so to speak to those bands.

I loooove Tomorrow I'll Be You. That one is in my top 3. When I saw Geoff at Warped in 2012 he was doing signings and writing different Thursday lyrics for each one. I gave him the sloppy low-down on what I was going through at the time and he signed "Since I replaced the 'I' in 'live' with an 'O' I can't remember who you are." I felt so much closer to that song than ever before. I still have that signature.

I'm hindsight, I felt like such a sad sap giving him my story, but he's such a kind and generous guy. I met him again the following year when he was on tour with Yellwocard. Barely anybody knew who he was. He played Standing On The Edge Of Summer and I shouted the part in the chorus that goes "ONE BREATH, ONE STEP, COULD KNOCK IT ALL DOWN" the he wouldn't sing by himself and he started cracking up on stage. I bought a short and tipped him $5 when I wish I would have just given him my entire wallet haha

Tomorrow I'll be You is probably tied with Stay True as my fav Thursday closer. Also Johna's part in Steps Ascending is incredible.

idk man autumn leaves is like an actual perfect song, and not even my favorite on that album (my favorite album of all time btw dk if youve heard)

 

and since someone is going to ask my fav song on the album is into the blinding light

 

Workforce might be this bands best opener

 

The old demo version of Autumn Leaves crushes the version on ACBTLD. I was just listening to those tracks yesterday. So so good. I'm stoked for the holiday shows already.
