I need to start paying attention to the grammar on my posts ha. I've made a bad habit of writing some pretty unreadable posts lately.
Good point, keep em coming. Though I could understand them wanting to try someone new if the music is going a different direction.
yeah I'll take new music in any form, even if it regresses to their early days (not a regression in terms of quality, but if they wanted to reexplore stuff) but they definitely did their best work with fridmann. imo
True, and the 3 records he did are all wildly different from each sonically. But maybe something gets in the way and they dont work together, who knows
I doubt it's an album tbh. Having heard so many Geoff interviews, it seems they are very difficult when it comes to recording as a band. I feel like if they were going to announce new music, it would already be in the can and I can't really see any evidence of that...would be amazing though. Also bare in mind that they are planning to break up/go on hiatus after this year... Hopefully it will be EU/UK/international dates. Been very disappointed that they are due here in 2/3 months for festivals and still no headline dates.
If they have plans for new music there's a 0% chance there would be talk of it before the 20th anniversary celebrations are over. Thrice, Underoath, fall out boy, and a whole shit load of bands who have reunited with new music denied it right up until the day the single dropped. Thursday would probably do the same. Or they may not even make music, who knows, but if they do I doubt we would know at any point before 2019
Hmm I'd much rather see Full Collapse in its entirety than War All the Time, but going to see them on Friday seems much easier.
