I'm surprised there's only one NJ show. Oh well, I'll be there.

 

That NJ show is tempting, but I might wait to see if there's a PA date next year

 

shocked Baltimore is included but I'm very in even if Rams head blows

 

I assumed Frank would be added to the Baltimore show but he's playing a show with the Descendants in the same venue December 1st. He can't be playing the same venue twice in a month, can he? Wonder if we get someone else

 

I wonder if I can make it to NJ for the holiday show. I'm sure they'll be back to GA one more time, but I'd love to experience one of their holiday shows once, if only because they'll play the deep cuts

 

damn wasnt expecting to see Thursday breakup twice this decade :,(

sounds to me like they just arent feeling new music right now, but its on the table and could very well happen just not now. very cool of them to just be honest and still give something to the fans with these tours. i only wish they would come to NC

 

I like that letter. I don't read it as a breakup, but as...let's just not beat this same drum over and over. New music is a possibility, that's good to know even without any solid guarantee.

ugh so a new album is a looong ways away. Can never be in Geoff's head but I'd have guessed he was pretty inspired at the last show I went to.
Also with a holiday show and US run, that means 4 Thursday shows in less than 2 years for me. Good times.
Lastly, excellent way to "go out." Like what he said about nostalgia.

 

at least they're not trying to beat that nostalgia horse like so many other bands are doing

 

Definitely going to that new year's show, will try to hit as many shows next year as possible

Also after months I figured out how Geoff plays Turnpike Divides acoustic. He tunes his guitar to DADGBB which is why I couldn't figure out what the fuck he was doing with the top open strings smh the fuck kind of tuning is that (love it tho tbh)

 

i wonder if pianos is the baltimore special guest, it would make soooo much sense

 

Got Starland tickets, I'm going to put neon tape on a shirt that spells out Chorus.fm or something and will buy any of you a drink in exchange for a crisp high five.

Got a ticket to the Starland show! So excited to hang out especially since there might only be a year left in Thursday :(

 

When they end the band for good, they should completely remove Thursdays from the calendar. On the bright side, Fridays would come sooner!

 

They better write some good songs so they don't hang it up.
