two trailers in now have me thinking either a) they don't have the look for sentry/the void finished yet or b) it's dogshit
You could be right, but it's also possible they just want to either save it for the film or for another trailer. It doesn't come out until May.
yeah i mean i'd be more inclined to think it's a than anything else. a lot of times the CGI isn't finished on this stuff until late. just seems weird to have no inkling of the plot yet
According to someone who was at a recent screening: The latest test screenings was very positive. Yelena is the main character. Sentry has a comic-accurate suit but with some differences. The film begins with Yelena on a mission. There are scenes set in the Red Room. Ghost has one of the best action scenes of the film. Sentry becomes The Void in the third act. The film has similar tones to those of 'CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER'.
I feel like I never see Ghost and Taskmaster in the same location and I can't tell if it's because they both look similar or because Taskmaster is definitely biting it early on.
I keep thinking, against my better judgment, that this looks like it could be pretty fun? Idk. It largely feels like normal Marvel Studios, lol, but the vibe is leaning just enough towards my sensibilities, I think.
This has a spark of fun that I have not felt in the MCU for quite a long time. It’s almost reaching The Avengers (2012) vibes.
I think this looks really good. I also think taskmaster is going to be killed off early on because she isn’t shown in half the footage with the group after a certain point.
Which is a shame because they could use this opportunity to correct their mistake from Black Widow and give her a personality with agency, but fuck, can't do that.
