I’m surprised something like this was just suggested on a whim

 

Ironheart's tech was being used to steal vibranium from Namor, Wakanda protected Ironheart from Namor, Namor killed Ramonda in retaliation, Shuri became Black Panther, M'Baku became king, Namor and Shuri declared a truce, T'Challa and Nakia have a son.

 

i feel like i’m losing my mind remembering an early teaser for this where we saw harrison ford and i assumed he got cut from the movie after captain america but now i can’t find that teaser anywhere

 

Nah, but his involvement was heavily rumored by internet people for a hot minute, so I understand the confusion.

 

This movie and Cap 4 were being marketed during a similar time period, and Cap 4 has strong “movie that doesn’t exist” energy.

So, the Harrison Ford appearance probably just bled into this movie. Especially with the “thunderbolt” overlap, lol.

 

i’m realizing i’m thinking of the scene in captain america where he’s talking about forming the avengers but i could have sworn it was in footage with yelena. i’m sleepy.

they're making an X-Men movie? finally? is there a new cast or is it just fucking patrick stewart and james mcavoy again?

It hasn't been officially announced but it's very obviously happening after this saga. We don't know what the plan is though. The OG Fox X-Men are in Doomsday. Beyond that, there's been no confirmation.

 

The two names that have been said to be in talks with Marvel are

Julia Butters as Kitty Pryde
Trinity Jo-Li Bliss as Jubilee

With Marvel apparently looking to cast both roles sooner than others, one can assume they will be important. We also have a writer signed on and Marvel looking at Schreier to direct.

I wouldn’t be surprised if production starts next year with a mid/late 2027 release.

I still think the most likely character for Sadie Sink to play is Firestar, and the least likely is MJ. I don’t wanna say she’s definitely not MJ ‘cause Marvel Studios isn’t above dumbass decisions, but like… come on, we already have an MJ, lol.
