Just do one of those clear slip covers on physical release where it’s Thunderbolts*, but when you remove the slip cover it reveals The New Avengers.
Use an Xacto knife and some hot glue to upcycle your Deja custom slipcovers into New Avengers slip covers.
I think if anything this may make the campaign more effective. Promotes more conversation and intrigue. They have the asterisk in both titles too.
I mean, the way you generally see asterisks being used is that you would see 2 of them. The first after a word or sentence and then one below starting off the info the asterisks represents. They have the asterisks in the correct place, but it should still say Thunderbolts* up top somewhere, IMO.
Thunderbolts*+ *The New Avengers+ +Taskmaster is in this^ ^The makers of this film make no claim or promise as to the extent or duration of said character’s appearance
Thunderbolts*’ writer didn’t know Marvel cut his Taskmaster arc until he saw the movie Big mad this didn't happen. That running gag would have been interesting.
That sounds funny. But I do wonder if they settled on the *right* amount of people and ongoing interpersonal bits between them. I also wonder now if keeping Taskmaster in trailers and posters was to prevent leaks/questions from all the early collaborators who would be confused to see the character removed from all marketing materials.
No, because despite them changing the title on posters, it’s still listed as Thunderbolts* on ticketing sites, IMDB, Letterboxd, etc.
gonna go on the record with my stance that the name change is something I don't care about one way or another
i was gonna say if someone walked up to the ticketing booth and asked for New Avengers the theater workers would most likely know what they were talking about, but you're right, ppl don't really do that anymore
thought it was okay. emotionally moving at times and funny at others but some of the performances just don’t work and as much as i thought pullman was good in this, the writing did sentry dirty. felt the most like how they seem to want the tv shows to go of any of the recent movies, which isn’t really a bad thing. small stakes and small heroes etc.
