This ruled. Probably the most I've thoroughly enjoyed an MCU movie in a long time.

it was a nice "surprise" in the theater, but they obviously hinted at it with the asterisk and everything. hopefully with the word "avengers" in the title more ppl would check it out. bc wtf is a thunderbolt. it's a genuinely good superhero movie, but casual mcu viewers will probably think its marketing has been kinda all over the place up until now. that whole thing likening it to A24 was so weird

 

Now parents are going to look up The New Avengers tickets for their kids and not find anything lol

 

Are they gonna cover up Taskmaster too? Cause...

I don’t know how much people care about spoilers for this, but that’s crazy they don’t even give people a full weekend to find that out.

This was better than expected even considering the early hype

 

Interesting hair choices in that scene

 

I was extremely irritated by the guy next to me. He was fidgeting and clearing his throat so much I wondered if he had a medical condition. He kept looking at his phone and after the 3rd time I was like dude come on and he stopped.

When the lights came up and he stood up, he had spilled popcorn (this may have been my fault as I shuffled past him to use the bathroom) all over the floor. His kid straight up said “what happened?” And he replied “it was an accident don’t worry about it” and started walking away

I said “hey man do you wanna come back over here and help me clean this up?” And he was like uhhhh sure. He came over, grabbed a handful of popcorn and said “it was an accident” and I replied “yeah well we’re adults and it doesn’t hurt to pick up after ourselves” and then he stood up and walked away while I finished picking it up

 

People are getting worse. I’m so glad my theater is rarely busy for Thursday screenings.

 

Yeah I told my wife maybe we should start going midweek lol

 

As a person who fell into a dark place at times within the last year, this movie made me smile.

 

Hey, marvel made a good movie! Real finding water in a desert situation. 3 stars

 

Does Yelena have a super hero name?

 

Yes, it's Black Widow.

 

She takes on the Black Widow mantle in the comics anyways
