This is the least believable part for me. Like he was an agent for an enemy country. Killed so many people. Spent 2 movies where he was the enemy. He fuckin killed Iron Man’s parents and the footage out there. This dude ain’t winning an election
He is also best friends with Steve Rogers and helped save the universe. I’d imagine people in the MCU are also pretty jaded and don’t care too much about his past.
This was great. Definitely the best Marvel movie since NWH. Honestly, probably a better movie than NWH despite me being a huge Spider-Man guy. I do feel like something was up with the pacing that I can't really put my finger on, though. Certain elements felt rushed despite its long run time. But, everyone involved was fantastic. Loved Bob and Yelena. Man it was pretty fucking dark when Sentry disappeared that little girl after Red Guardian saved her, though. Before we knew that these people weren't actually dying lol
I watched this again last night. This safely sits within my top 5 MCU films. Having a team that audiences know and care about is exactly what Marvel needed for Doomsday. If they pull this off with F4, the hype next year will be immense.
idk a 100 year old russian asset with a body count seems pretty plausible to win in the house in 2028 or what the fuck ever
Loved this. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but my sister had no recollection of who Ghost or Taskmaster are. After the movie, she was trying to say we should've caught up on the Marvel shows. So I had to remind her about Ant-Man 2 and Black Widow.
I completely forgot who Taskmaster was but remembered Ghost Black Widow was unfortunately kind of a forgettable movie for me
Honestly, pretty much everything these characters were in is stuff I didn’t like or feel no need to ever re-visit. This is the peak for all of them.
I also saw one review mention that that was kind of the point, these characters were so disposable that Valentina thought she could have them all killed without impunity
Did seem like one hell of a spoiler that the F4 ship was coming down in the credits. Seems to imply that they didn't save their planet. But who knows.
Just remembered the quick scene with Bob as the sign spinner in a chicken suit. "I was on meth!" I laughed real hard at that one. Kind of wild to think that Steven Yuen was originally going to play Sentry. Yuen is great, but I don't think he would have pulled off this role as well.
