Just looked up the results of the Thrice bracket. Is Earth Will Shake actually anybody's favourite Thrice song? I like it, but Im pretty surprised it won

 

Not sure I could pick a single favorite Thrice song, but it is my favorite song on my favorite album of theirs so I'm not all that surprised it won.

 

I’ve always liked it but i actually appreciate it the most of their songs now. My favorite is still Of Dust though.

The way the brackets work is part luck, but mostly it's just the song most people agree on. I don't think it's a lot of peoples top song from them.

Sort of. Never said I never loved Beggars, just that it is overrated from a fans POV when we were talking about overrated songs, which is super true In no way is it the best of Thrice or what they can do. I voted for it in almost every round I believe though lol.

 

I only voted for one album in LP, and I def didn’t take any big stances. Maybe I voted in the minority in some cases, but I don’t really care about LP.

The bracket literally shows that others agree with me. The songs I call out as average or mediocre never win with all the votes.

 

His hot takes are generally really bad. Let’s not talk about DC movies/tv.

 

The Whaler is their best song, thank you.

 

Not my fav, but I do love it. I happened to have it set up to start as I got in my car after seeing Coco and it was PERFECT.

Well yeah, if you are talking the DC movie threads, saying anything positive is a hot take so it's a terrible, terrible example. It's all good though, I've come to find the music threads are more positive for the most part.
