the thrice shop now says the bundles and box sets will not ship until early 2018. it said december when it went live. is this just a new batch that is getting delayed further or are all preorders now delayed until "early 2018"? has anyone gotten any emails? i sent the link to my parents to preorder as a christmas gift haha so i dont have any email confirmations to look at
Agree with you on this. Kings Upon the Main isn't that strong of a closer. Think that Open Water would be better in that spot IMO.

The first 5 songs are absolutely marvelous and perfect. Somehow Digital Sea is the weakest of those, which is really saying something. Damn I should buy the vinyl x_x
Listening to Air. Have come to the conclusion that if you can put in woodwind parts (mainly clarinets) in a rock song without sounding cheesy, then you should.
Remember reading that review back in the day (i'm old) Also, Jason has become a much better writer. When reviews retire "perfect" and state "cannot put into words"...whoof
Finished TAI. Favorite section was Water, followed by Air and Fire. Earth was okay, but nothing compared to the other three.
Air, Fire, and Water rule, and all have 5 out of 6 percent songs and then one really good one. Earth doesn't do much for me aside from Come All you weary but it's all good aside from the cover.
Rad. I figured there were some sort of shenanigans like that, but this is another example of how Thrice is one of the best bands in there world today, both in terms of their music and as people. BTW, like the new username. Though there are better Menz songs you could've picked...
Both are good but Mexican Guitars ending is what sells that song for me. Obituaries is good because of how cathartic that chorus is. I don’t know if I’d put one over the other. Casey is on another level though
There were definitely people who said they disliked the new direction. Not a huge backlash, but big enough to be noticed.
I love all those three songs but Mexican Guitars is arguably my favorite song of the decade. Id love to write an essay as to why but idk where’d I’d put it lol
