I was driving and spaced on this and was still able to get one. Glad they opened up a second pre order cuz i would have been real bummed.
Will be wearing a striped blue hoody and Am the guy who looks like he hasn’t shaved in a while, if you want to say hi haha
I’ll be wearing dark grey shorts and a dark v-neck shirt from Target with bright blue strapped Chaco sandals on my feet. I’m also 6’ 4”. Brown hair and a brownish red beard. I’ll also be in Florida and I’m also aware I made this joke already on Chorus, but I’m okay with it.
I also have not shaved in a while and I will have a red/blue plaid long sleeve on over top a Foxing tee with a raccoon on it
Did I mention I am just glad everyone that wants a copy of The Alchemy Index will be able to get one. Any fan of Thrice that collects vinyl should be able to own that a decent price.
Their suite of Alchemy Index songs was probably the highlight of their set. I loved seeing Open Water and Broken Lungs, as well as finally seeing Firebreather and Come All You Weary. Overall, the setlist needs more Beggars. They could have cut Blood On The Sand and Deadbolt. The latter is just silly at this point. Also, felt like Dustin wasn't really able to scream tonight? It was more like he shouted during The Earth Will Shake and Silhouette most notably. I'm sure he's just trying to preaerve his voice while on tour at his age now, but it took by surprise and I was a bit underwhelmed.
Answered is maybe a top 10 Thrice track so I found it kinda weird they picked Red Telephone as the cool throw back b-side to play, haha. I really hate Blood in the Sand and Black Honey but I was alright with them live. I'm very neutral on AitA's title track, but Silhoutte is a great time. The suite was perfect and the best part of their set easily. But man, those people yelling "ONLY PLAY OLD SHIT!" "PAPER TIGERS!" and "THRICE SUCKS" after every song should choke.
