Maybe they want to go to a label that has more of a "presence" in the post-hardcore world, since Vagrant is more focused on indie rock and stuff like that. Who knows.
I don't think they were planning on announcing it yet but these guys knew about it somehow and Dustin doesn't bother denying it haha.
I don't need screaming again. It would be nice for Teppei to play guitar again like he did in Bloodclots or Killing Moon.
I'm still surprised by this, especially since TBEItBN did so well on Vagrant. I just want Palmquist back.
The little blurb box that popped up at the beginning said this is the 19th album/ep released by the band Thrice lol
really hoping for a new track on the Circa co-headline tour also Beggars is a staple of this genre. I hope their next album takes a few more risks and has something that can be a single without being too Alt-Rock centric. Fucking love this band
That's my wife's birthday! Do they ever play new songs live before they've been released/recorded? Not since I stared following them in '09, not to my memory at least.
A few do come to mind, at least for me. They played image of the invisible warped 2005, they played an early version of Firebreather live in 2006 at bamboozle or something I think? And they also played all the world is mad at bamboozle 2009 I think
The thought of hearing new material on this tour is pretty excitting to me. The only time I saw Thrice they played their Beatles cover of Helter Skelter that was fun
I know that basically now whatever the band writes makes it on to the records or ends up as bsides, but I've always been curious about these 2 "songs" or parts of songs that never made it to anything. Always remember seeing this on the Thrice dvd, it sounds like Dustin singing with piano and obviously would have been for the recording of artist in ambulance. Starts around 1:13, around a few seconds long - Also this song which looks like they maybe only played once, and it was supposed to be on Vheissu
