Idk I just figured a band that's been around as long as they have would have invested in a bigger practice space. Is it for sound reasons?
I think they've been that way for a while now. They used a room/garage/something in Teppei's old house as a combination recording/rehearsal space. Comes with living in an expensive and densely populated area I guess?
Just listened to Major/Minor today for the first time in a while, and I think it's some of their best work. Not sure why so many people disliked it.
Call It In the Air, Yellowbelly, Promises, Blur, and Words In the Water are all great. Still in my lower Thrice albums ranking.
Just picked up my copy of Sea Change 7", was much more busy than a few years ago when I went, but thankfully was able to still pick it up. Was gonna try to get More thoughts and Balance and Composure but just kind of gave up because I want breakfast now
I've done some begging in the vinyl thread to see if someone can grab me a copy. I just don't live near a record store that is particiapting in RSD.
It's a good song, doesn't really sound like anything on TBEITBN. Honestly could sound like something from whatever they are writing now for a new record haha.
Quite a few copies up on eBay right now. Might have to pay to $20, but apparently it will be cheaper than some stores have them marked up.
The cheapest I see on eBay is $25 plus shipping. Some are up for auction, but in confident they will all go for $25 or more. $20 is kinda my limit for paying a scalper, but that's the only way I'll get one.
May the odds be ever in your favor. Sound Go Round in Vestal sold out their 3 copies in 10 minutes -_-
