So bummed its such a short tour and playing pavilions. This should be going everywhere and playing indoor venues for the best experience
Eh. There's a Chicago date. I might go. Tickets probably won't sell out right away so I cant probably wait to make my decision.
I'll go because Thrice and Deftones are two of my favorite bands ever, but I'd prefer separate headlining tour in smaller venues.
Curious how long Thrice will get to play on the Deftones/Rise Against tour. An hour at most I'm going to assume
Would love to be at the San Diego date. Is there going to be a spring tour revolving around the Thrice/Manchester Orchestra HOB show next month or is that a one off?
Between this, periphery/norma jean in april, and mastodon/russian circles in may, i'm gonna be happy but broke this spring and summer.
Man, I know I've probably made a post like this before, but man oh man Thrice is just my favorite band of all time bar none. I don't know how to explain it, they just are. They were the band that were transformative in my listening and growing of finding new bands and genres. They got me into heavier things, experimental things and just so much. I think I kind of took them granted for a while when I discovered new/newer bands that I liked because these newer bands may have had more relatable lyrics through times or things I was going through, but as I've gotten older, I've definitely grown more with Dustin's lyrics. Growing up Christian/religious I can relate a lot with Dustin's lyrics but I feel I have a better grasp on them now with age. I've seen them 4 times now and every single time I've seen them they've been so great, I just can't put it into words. I've been watching live videos of them on YouTube recently and I stumbled on this video and I think it sums up nicely why I like them a lot as a band haha. Sorry for the long paragraph, just had to get it off my chest because no one can understand it as much as you guys haha.
Riley said in Twitter on the third that thrice will be finishing up this year in the studio. I'd post the tweet, but hes private now.
I can only imagine how incredible the next record will be. I really hope Palmquist produces again, because I don't think they've ever sounded better than on TBEITBN.
