Major/Minor is really good. Listened to it today and I think I enjoyed it more than I ever have. Cataracts is great.
I hope one day I fall in love with it. Maybe the only think I don't listen to all the way through from these dudes.
I enjoy M/M it's just kinda a middle of the road release from them, and it doesn't help it came out after Beggars which is my fav Thrice album. Interesting too at my date they only played one song from it(Yellow Belly). Though it had a great reaction from the crowd. Words in the Water is still amazing.
Was playing Forza Horizon 3 this afternoon and Blood On The Sand kicks on in game. This made me happy. Followed up with Bored to Death. Less happy.
So after getting to see this tour a second time, I think that The Long Defeat has taken my top spot for crowd sing-a-long song. Always liked the end of Hold Fast Hope live but now getting to hear everyone sing together "Together we'll fight the long defeat" just gives me goosebumps.
Ah, forgot about Stare at the Sun. I dunno, Firebreather isn't up there for me. Maybe because it's just whoa whoas
I've said this countless times, but the crowd chanting at the end of Firebreather during their farewell tour was a religious experience for me.
I got Messenger at my date of the farewell tour instead. Not sure which once I'd rather have....why not both?
