I think Carry The Fire was programmed.

 

Yeah, Dustin played all the instruments and programmed the drums on that. I think he did the same for his Christmas album?

 

Damn lol really thought they were live drums shows you how much of what we listen to is sampled these days can't even tell anymore

 

I saw a string of Riley tweets and for a brief moment thought him talking about recording in November to mean new Thrice, but then I quickly remembered Less Art.


Also, this:

 

Bit late, but saw Thrice play in London last Thursday, and it was basically the best thing ever, did a great set (even if Backdraft is like my least favourite song from probably the whole Alchemy Index) and the newer songs work so well live - The Long Defeat and Death From Above especially. I don't really need to say it on a Thrice forum thread, but definitely see them if you get the chance!

 

Death from Above is a stellar song and I loved it live
