Intrigued by those, although if I ever pick up Alchemy on vinyl it'll be hard not to seek out the combined format with all four volumes.

A few more details about "Thrice-giving," which I assume is a tradition they'll start keeping this time of year?

"For the first time ever, Thrice release a standalone vinyl version of the album The Alchemy Index Vols. III and IV: Air and Earth. This unique pressing will include the Air half of the album on Translucent Milky Clear 12” vinyl, and the Earth portion on Translucent Tan. This release will be included in the inaugural band event featuring special catalog releases, dubbed “Thrice-giving,” this holiday season."

 

I rather have the combined set of the alchemy index i've wanted it for a long time but rather not pay the ridiculous reseller price

I had to sell mine a couple of years ago when money got tight.

Still have my first pressing from 2009, plan to have them sign it this weekend.

 

Just got my VIP email and apparently they’re not signing anything. Bummer.

Very interested in the Identity Crisis repress as it's the only full-length (including Alchemy Index) from them I don't have, and haven't felt like shelling out $100-$200 for a copy of it over the years.

yeah, I also have my original press of Alchemy as well as Vheissu. Insane that album's also 20, was such an eye opener to me at that age.

Fun story, they played Starland Ballroom on Halloween 05 with Underoath opening. Underoath came out dressed as slipknot and played "sic", and thrice was dressed as team Zissou and called themselves Them Vheissu. The joke still gets me. If I can find the old disposable camera shots i'll post

 

alchemy index is popping up on indie record stores' websites for preorder... i wonder if it'll get a wide release

 

Were The Alchemy Index ever actually up on their website? Or is that being handled exclusively by record stores?

 

Looks like it's record store only, nice incentive but I hope to FUCK these are available overseas too. Have wanted these on vinyl for 18 years.

 

Ran a marathon yesterday and the last song that came on was the live version of "Phoenix Ignition" from Anthology.

Felt great to approach the finish line to those crowd chants of "Move forward and ignite!" And Dustin screaming "A new fire each day!!!"

 

Also, why did "Stand and Feel Your Worth" disappear from Vheissu on Apple Music and does anyone have an HQ version they can share so I can add it back to my library?

I was hoping it was to fix the error that the track had on streaming (it started skipping towards the end), but it's been missing for a while now so I don't know.

 

Where'd you run? Horizons/West took me through the middle of my half marathon in Raleigh yesterday.

 

Raleigh! The back half of the full was brutal, so many hills. And I stupidly tried to push through a calf injury but I still finished!

 

Cheers! The half's been enough punishment for me, so kudos to you for tackling the full.

 

they fixed it a while back but its been about a year since it started glitching again. same thing happens to the beginning of Mineral’s For Ivadell. i remember switching to the fixed version of Stand and then it came up on shuffle and somehow was the glitched one again
