Still can't believe I'm seeing them next week. I had long lost hope of ever catching them live considering they were part of my favorite acts who pretty much never came here, so this is a childhood dream come true

 

Just got an email promising an announcement to the Alliance tomorrow. As I'm not a member, I'm not sure why I'm on that distribution list, but word to the wise...

 

This is how they announce scavengers for Horizons east. But also how they announce tours too. Hopefully it’s both!

 

Any chance we hear about Horizons West or a tour!?

 

Wishful thinking is it’s a single. My instincts tells me it’s a tour.

If memory serves me correctly, they announced the horizons tour with touche and then like a few weeks later they announced horizons and premiered scavengers. Pretty sure both announcements were exclusive to alliance first

 

I hope its both. There is so many fall tours announced already. I need some Thrice dates.

I've absolutely no doubt this will be in support of Horizons/West. I imagine they'll announce that album about a month from now.

I’m so out of it today that I spent $325 without even blinking and didn’t notice that was a new song.

 

I bought my ticket before even realizing there was audio on the post.

 

lol same, but i am extremely into that snippet. hoping for a single/album announcement in the next month or so!

If they follow their pattern from recent releases, about a month after the announcement of the tour they announced the new album and simultaneously released the first song. Of course, in that case, the news began a month nearer to start of tour (which coincided with album release).

So, somewhere in the next 4 to 8 weeks, I suspect.

 

Hoping they play a new song on Thursday but I figure doing this before the studio version is out isn't something they do anymore
