Would be cool if they drop a new song or start playing it live on the EU tour. I may see them in a few weeks, with Hot Water Music as a co-headliner.

Such a good lineup I hope they tour together in the states also would be cool if chuck ragan joined them for blood clots and black holes, and thrice joined them for fences.

Forgot to add that they said it’s pretty close to being done

This is a damn fine cup of coffee.

I mean, Alliance set the bar pretty low in terms of meaningful updates. It's easy to overlook. I learn more about the band from DK's wife's Instagram.

    Wait...

The next album isn't even finished yet?

I've been imagining it was more-or-less finished back in April when Teppei was posting all sorts of IG videos along the lines of "here is a guitar I used on the new record". Man, if it isn't done now here in early June, I really have to reconfigure my expectations about its release date. Maybe we won't see it released until November or December. Ugh.

To be fair, I feel like I've heard Thrice say they record instruments in stages, and it's plausible Teppei had finished the majority of his parts around that time.

My least favorite album by them but there is a few songs I really like and they sound so much better when they play them live. I know they wouldn't but I wouldn't mind if they rerecorded a few songs from it.
