My least favorite album by them but there is a few songs I really like and they sound so much better when they play them live. I know they wouldn't but I wouldn't mind if they rerecorded a few songs from it.
In about 10 hours, Thrice will be playing in Sweden, but I have absolutely no confidence in a live debut of a new song. It's never going to happen. Thrice fans aren't that lucky. There's a greater chance that one or two Republicans will grow a spine than there is Thrice debuting a new jam on the road. I guarantee no new songs on the set list.
Hm... I'm pretty sure they played in *Switzerland* a couple of hours ago. I'm dying to see the setlists from these Europe shows.
I just watched this interview with Dustin that seems like it was recorded in the last couple of weeks. In it, he said he is writing for his next solo album that he hopes to release in 2026, with the goal of releasing Thrice and solo albums in alternating years going forward. If they could keep that pace up for even just the next 5 or 6 years, that'd be incredible.
I regret to inform you all that my attempted reverse jinx did not work. But at least they played "The Window."
I remember Dustin mentioning wanting to alternate focusing on his solo stuff one year and the following year on thrice when I saw him in los angeles last year but wasn't sure if I misheard him. It feels like it is taking them longer to write new music they are happy with I wonder how realistic i'd be to release new music every year
Unless I am mistaken today they are playing their first headlining set on this europe tour which means more songs which hopefully means a new song lol
Honestly, it's probably just that they're all dads (I don't know about Riley) and getting older so things are slowing down for them.
Setlist.fm has their Warsaw setlist. No mention of a new song, sadly, but it shows "Music Box" and "Between the End..." having been played, supposedly. I'm not sure I buy that as true, but it'd be really awesome if so.
