Of sugar and ice I am made

In my head it's sequenced much later on the album because of how well it works as a set closer. It's always jarring when it comes on much sooner than I expect.

I didn't go to this show, but after their hiatus... their first show back they opened with The Earth Will Shake if I remember right. I remember watching footage of that. Chills.

Never got the insane love for that song. It’s good. But yea. I have nothing negative to say about it. Just think they’ve got better.

I actually rarely listen to the studio version but live the outro is so good, and like I said a few comments up Dustin's belting out right before that stomping part that whole song just hits different for me

  6. I absolutely love the imagery in that song and the way they bring it to life, the guitar tone, the heavy bits...like I said folks, it's perfect

Good, glad you got the message

    thank u, next Supporter

I’m more mixed on Vheissu than most people who love Thrice as much as I did at my peak. But, my favorite thing about it (besides the best songs being among their best) is how it sounds. So, like… suggesting a re-record of it is wild to me, lol.

“The Earth Will Shake” as it appears on that album is easily in their top 5 song recordings ever released.

I honestly don’t think any album besides Artist needed revisited. But, it really needed one? Like, Artist Revisited is tied with Beggars now for my favorite and probably the one I’ve gone back to most this past year. I do wish “Motion Isn’t Meaning” had been included as a bonus track, though.

I think somw of us are just curious to hear what Dustin wanted his performance to sound like especially since it is their best or one of their best for a lot of us

Any Alliance members watch their Q&A video and can share what they discussed about Horizons/West?

    roamer. wanderer. nomad. vagabond.

i was at one of the first dustin solo shows for desert dreaming and i asked... turns out 'lift your eyes' was meant to be on horizons west, but once that project was on hiatus, he used what he had for his solo album.

From the same video, I'd love to know if they mentioned when they're planning to be on tour for H/W.

Come on, one of you has to be an Alliance member and can give the details from this:

Big thanks to those of you who submitted questions on the Discord page last week. There were a lot of them — on everything from touring plans, to snacking/drinking preferences, to details about Horizons/West. We answered as many of them as we could, and actually speak about Horizons/West in a bit more detail for the first time anywhere. Enjoy this exclusive video of us in the studio answering your questions. And thank you so much for your support!

DK spins now, and the results are staggering. Clearly, his new form of exercise inspired the lyrics for "Dead Wake."

Recording sounds in the wild sounds like some the alchemy index type shit with wind chimes and air sounds on the air and earth ep
