They did this with "Yellow Belly" at Bamboozle a couple months before its official release in July 2011. But I don't think there's any other more recent examples.

I think we got either all the world is mad or at the last at warped tour 2009 before beggars came out which was pretty sweet

 

All the World Is Mad and Firebreather were played live before being released.

 

IIRC All The World Is Mad was warped, and then Firebreather was Bamboozle 2006? It changed quite a bit after that the original was heavier

deeper wells ep has been getting a ton of play for me in 2025. probably an unpopular opinion, but i think they keep getting better and better.

 

Stumbling west is one hell of a song especially the chorus being so good

 

The only way to listen to the deeper wells ep is on repeat. So freaking good. Between that and dead wake and open your eyes and dream, West is going to rule so hard.

 

Are we still sure it is still horizons west?

 

It’s the assumption most have made. But honestly I don’t even care make it whatever you want thrice just put it in my veins.

The new record is actually called The Alchemy Index Vols. V, VI, VII & VIII.

 

I feel like live debuts were more of a thing when we all carried potatoes in our pockets. Thrice hasn't done it in nearly 14 years, which doesn't bode well for it happening this summer. But then again, Blink just did it with "Can't Go Back," as did Arm's Length with "Funny Face."

 

Would kill for this

i'm hopeful that at some point, dead wake and open you eyes... will be on vinyl.
