I wish I got to see them twice on this tour. It is hard to argue otherwise that they aren't the best band atleast for me, they have done so many different things I love about music so well consistently.
Ooh yeah that was tasty It's physically painful not to be able to see this tour, but I loved the extra podcast stuff they did around it. Just one of my all time favorites.
Seeing them play Wood and Wire live back in 2016 was such a treat. The climax of that outro hit so good live
I saw them in SF. When they played "Doublespeak" and I didn't hear the voice over I was really thrown off.
forgive me if this isn't allowed here, but i ripped the audio of the live artist show posted on YT this week. to anyone who wants it, it's here: MediaFire
@sooner518 it must be out there somewhere, I wish I still had my old desktop. It's funny what probably was once an annoyance we see as nostalgic.
If someone can find audio of the Vagrant records watermark, I'll take a bluetooth speaker and play it before they come on at the Dallas show.
This is perfection, small changes, but it's just given me goosebumps, now I'm still watching the rest of the show, though I was only supposed to check that one song
I honestly don't even remember that change in Wood and Wire when I went to the SF show. But oh man, that's so good, also crazy how they can make the guitar parts straight up guitar feedback and make it sound perfectly part of the song.
Riley just posted on ig that they are gonna make a new record after the holidays. Not sure if that means write or record. But at least it seems that’s their focus in 2025
i wouldnt necessarily rule it out but, they did a whole tour for the 15 year anniversary, feels unlikely they do something like that again, but some merch and a re-press is certainly a possibility.
