The latest podcast with Dustin and Andy Hull brought out a side of Dustin we don't see too often. Highly recommend.
They rebranded the TAITA Revisited podcast feed into the Thrice Podcast feed. They recently did a Beggars Revisited series, and now they're doing Manchester tour-related episodes by having members of each band interview each other.
What thing? I saw the episode involving Riley had appeared in the feed of the Thrice Podcast on Spotify and other podcast platforms. I don't see this new one with Dustin appearing there. I got an email telling me I could access it via their website as an Alliance member, but (like all Alliance stuff), when I logged in the site said I did not have permission to view it and I would need to subscribe to do so. The Alliance have been a complete disaster in my experience. Is this latest podcast episode available somewhere other than their Alliance login page? Or, could you share details of what was discussed?
found a copy of beggars at HPB in the clearance section along with some other goodies, got all of this for 16 bucks with my b-day coupon, score!
I miss a good old Dustin Kensrue acoustic show, I wonder if they'll ever bring back the where's the band tour.
One of my favorites was seeing him play at UCSB in front of like 100 people. He got in line for beer before his set and this guy in front of me bought him a pitcher and they chatted for like 20 minutes before the show.
That's badass! What year was that? I've wanted to buy him a drink but I feel awkward around him mostly because I don't want him to think i'm weird lol, he's such a stoic dude
Nice! I remember driving to southern california to catch one of his acoustic shows but I think it was in 2013.
The top one is my favorite and the one I most associate with the album. I still remember my first listen on the drive home from Best Buy.
The top one is a beautiful cover but the third will always be my favorite and is what I see in my head when I listen to the album
Third one is tops, i'm sure a large part of the allure is that it never happened on an official release of the album but it's still my fav. First one is also very very good though
3rd for sure. I don’t know if it was because of being younger, but I remember being so allured by the artwork when the album was announced and wondering what it sounded like.
