Here’s the Bandcamp page for it. You can hear a clip in the trailer. Also features Sparta (with a guest vocal from Geoff Rickly) and Ways Away: Learn to Relax! A Tribute to Jehu, by Noise Real Records
Towards the end of the TAITA podcast, they hinted at a live studio recording they did of various songs. I wonder if that's still coming out before year's end. It seems like Epitaph would want something to release this year after they gave them their blessing to do the TAITA re-record on their own.
Looks like Dustin lost voice last night at the Starland show and they’ve cancelled the next 2 shows on the tour
I give him a lot of credit for getting through the entire album. He was still able to scream but was not able to sing at all, felt really bad for him. He apologized like 20 times. They sounded great regardless.
Listening to Horizons through my better headphones today as we settle into fall weather and sheesh, the production on this album is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully Dustin recovers his voice soon, and we'll hear news of more music one of these days.
I’m confused. Do y’all think I’m a bot cuz I said I love thrice or did I miss the joke? I probably missed the joke…
Yep, as stated they played a shortened set but he sounded pretty good tonight. Couldn’t tell he was having any vocal issues.
yeah, shortened setlist. no b-sides, but a great show regardless. apparently vip’s got an autographed poster rather than the bonus acoustic set, for what that’s worth.
Reading into Riley's recent IG post, it sounds like they're taking some time off for the holidays before they head to Europe for more TAITA shows in February. That means their nostalgia tour won't be done until March. A late 2024 record release is still possible if they've been demoing all this time, but who knows how much time they've had to do that while on the road so much. Excluding the hiatus years, they've never had more than a 3-year gap between records (Palms September '18 x Horizons September '21). I realize I should cut them some slack since they released TAITA 2.0 earlier this year, but I can't help but fiend for new Thrice. I'm sure Epitaph is too since they blessed their TAITA self-release in lieu of a more immediate Horizons follow-up.
Horizons is their best album post hiatus so I'd rather them take their time with a proper follow up imo
