I saw Thrice at HOB Orlando on the Palms tour completely by accident.

Also seeing them tonight in Atlanta. I always get whiplash at the new Masquerade after the walking fire hazard that was the old glorious one.

 

I was at that Orlando show, too. Killer encore.

 

No Eclipse and no Motion Isn’t Meaning is a bit strange after Vheissu and TIOS got the b-sides.

 

They’ve played motion isn’t meaning almost every night according to set list.fm. Except the second night in San Diego.

 

And tonight in Atlanta

 

Lighting tonight was really cool. This is the only one I got that doesn’t look like total shit though lol

 

Does anyone need two tickets for Boston on Friday? Realized I have a conflict and can’t go :(

 

Ah you got the same set list as that second night in San Diego then. So you got Red Sky, Yellow Belly, and The Messenger instead of Idols, Motion isn’t Meaning, and Just Breathe.
Looks like they are gonna through that alternate set list in every few days.

 

I’m glad I got the main setlist. I’ve never seen all three live before where I have heard the alt songs before.

 

Red Death, yeah. I’m glad the TIOS shows brought back some deeper cuts. They’re very fun songs live.

 

I’ve been totally misreading that on the set lists lol. I just saw “red” and my brain filled in the rest.

We were like dead at the back by the stairs to the balcony bc we got there so late. I just zoomed way in lol

honestly maybe the best i’ve ever heard them sound last night? this band has no right to sound this good at this stage. sounding good and cool no matter if it’s something from their second album or eleventh. what a band. oh and the cheeky fuckers even threw deadbolt back into the set recently. and hey, it still whips

that little pride lighting moment during black honey was a nice, understated touch

 

They’ve been doing the rainbow lights during the second verse of Black Honey every time I’ve seen them since 2016 so I wouldn’t get it confused with a thing for pride month

 

So glad I got to see Dead Wake before they dropped it for fucking Deadbolt lol

 

fair enough! i’ve probably seen them do it before then and forgot

 

It is cool though

 

Yeah, I think it ties to the "pretty colors" line about the butterfly.
