Listening to Artist Revisited again this morning, wondering if it’ll take that top spot from Beggars for me someday. Probably a mix of nostalgia and recency bias there, but like… this is such a consistently focused force of an album.

“In Exile” probably has my favorite song slot down for life, though, and “Beggars” top 3 with “Artist.”

 

I've had Melting Point of Wax stuck in my head since Revisited dropped. I love the song, but it's honestly driving me nuts at this point.

 

Going through old live late night music appearances, and totally forgot they were on Conan during the Alchemy Index era

 

Speaking of The Alchemy Index, I’ve been revisiting most of those EPs lately and Fire & Water still stands amongst the best stuff they’ve ever done

 

I still need a whole album of the "Water" sound.

Either I've just never heard the screaming in the outro to "Don't Tell And We Won't Ask" or I just have never heard them before this new version.

 

It’s pretty buried in the original mix, but you can hear Dustin screaming during the outro on Live at the House of Blues
