The Earth Will Shake through Music Box easily tops that, for me. And Cold Cash through Stare at the Sun.
There doesn't have to be a best or better when your speaking about such a great band. Just preference. I figure bands make more than one album and use different sounds knowing that fans will like different albums.
Call It In The Air is fantastic. But yeah, Burn The Fleet is easily my least favorite song this band has ever written by a wide margin. Something about it just... yeah. Not my favorite. Have disliked it since Fire first came out.
I feel like I like this more than I give it credit for. I definitely prefer it to MM (shout outs mike j) but it's still not really quite what I wanted from them. That said, SWM, Whistleblower, DFA, and Hurricane I'll be coming back to for a very long time
Stay With Me and The Long Defeat... whoa man. Those songs were what I needed most from Thrice in 2016.
Fuck - Mike I'm sorry I'm sorry Oh shit TLD! I forgot that one. That's a great song too. Like I said, I like it more than I think I do. Haha
If we can't talk about the newest Thrice album in the Thrice thread, let's talk about how under-appreciated this masterpiece of a song is:
There are a ton of great songs on this album. Stylistically, I don't think it's that different from M/M at all, but I think the songwriting is much stronger this time around. Every song on this album feels massive.
But seriously, if I can get Talking Through Glass and Music Box live on the fall tour I'll have checked off my top 10 Thrice songs live and plz @dustin @riley @eddie @teppei @thrice
